From the synergy between Confindustria Catanzaro, Universitas Mercatorum, Aulab Hackademy and beOn Foundation, with a view to Upskilling and Reskilling digital skills, the project is born DigiLab for Futurea free project, entirely financed by the Digital Republic Fund – Social Enterprise which supports projects aimed at training and digital inclusion, to increase digital skills and develop the country’s digital transition.

Digilab for Future is an excellent cutting-edge digital training opportunity, reserved for unemployed and/or inactive people in the Calabrian area, which aims to provide employment for at least 75 project participants.

The details of the project

Digilab is intended for 125 participants, residents in the Calabria region, unemployed and/or inactive aged between 34 and 50 with basic or advanced IT skills and with specific attention to individuals who have fewer opportunities. Specifically, people with disabilities (art.1 l.68/99) and non-EU foreign citizens with a regular residence permit.

Cutting-edge digital training, combined with courses on soft skills, coaching and psychological support, will allow participants to obtain certification of the skills acquired which can be immediately used in the job market.

The courses available and their composition

– 35 places for the FULL STACK DEVELOPER course (starting September 2024) lasting 400 hours online, intended for unemployed/unemployed people aged 34-44, in possession of a high school diploma or degree, of which 2 places reserved for people with disabilities,

– 40 places for the WEB DESIGNER course (starting September 2024) lasting 200 hours online, intended for unemployed/unemployed people aged 34-44, in possession of a high school diploma or degree;

– 40 places for the DIGITAL SKILLS AND DIGITAL MARKETING course (starting July 2024) lasting 100 hours online, of which 32 places reserved for unemployed/unemployed people aged 45-50, and 8 places reserved for unemployed/unemployed people aged 34 -44 years old with disabilities, in possession of a high school diploma;

– 10 places for the DIGITAL PRINTING OPERATOR 4.0 course (starting July 2024) lasting 40 hours online, intended for unemployed/unemployed people aged 34-50, in possession of a lower or upper secondary school diploma;

– 40 hour online course on soft skills (for all selected participants).

Training methods

The courses will be delivered in synchronous online mode, with the exception of the Soft skills course which will be delivered in asynchronous fad mode, via the e-learning platforms of the University and Aulab, and with an average daily commitment of 4 hours .

How to participate

For the participation in the allocation of seats available, the candidates, by e no later than July 20, 2024must complete the online participation application available on the website www.unimercatorum.it, carry out an initial test and undergo a motivational interview before a commission appointed by Universitas Mercatorum.

Each candidate will be able to express multiple preferences but, if suitable, can
participate in a single course. At the end of the selections, a ranking will be drawn up for the assignment of places and the start is scheduled
