PESCARA. “There’s no point in denying that we would have wanted another result that would have led us to govern Pescara.” Thus the regional councilor of the M5S Erika Alessandrini comments on the outcome of the Pescara vote with Masci at 50.95%, Costantini at 34.24%, Pettinari at 13.08%. The M5S collected just 3.95%. «Unfortunately», says Alessandrini, «the city has missed a unique opportunity for change that the proposal Carlo Costantini and our progressive coalition offered respect to the major strategic issues such as the waste area, the park road and Viale Marconi. This must not take away our incentive to continue the hard and intransigent opposition work that, as M5S, we have carried out over the last five years.” Despite the meager 3.95% in the Municipality, Alessandrini speaks of «an extraordinary group of activists who, first, fought against a thousand difficulties in a very tough electoral campaign and, now, will be the lifeblood that will support the activity of our councilor Paolo Solareconfirmed in the city council”.
«I will continue the battles», Sola announces, «first of all that for a new kennel, after the massacre of the Masci council with the closure of the shelter in Via Raiale to counter the populist policies and disastrous choices of this centre-right».
