Marsala – Thanks to the exploitation of the ranking of the public competition announced in 2021 by the Grillo Administration, it was possible to proceed with a new recruitment of Agents to strengthen the staff of the Municipal Police of Marsala. In total, there are 12 seasonal firefighters hired on full-time, fixed-term contracts for five months.
“The economic resources do not allow us to hire any more, says councilor Donatella Ingardia; but our intention remains firm to proceed with new commissionings after the approval of the budget”.
Nine Officers are already operational, taking into account that they have already passed the required entry tests – knowledge of the English language, ability to use IT equipment and applications – thus achieving suitability to carry out functions in the Municipal Police. According to reports from the competent “Human Resources” sector, directed by Andrea Giacalone, the procedure for the other three hires will be completed at the end of the week.
Among the tasks assigned to the new hires, there are also those of ensuring safety and public order, strengthening control services in the area especially in this summer period, where the influx of citizens and visitors in traditional meeting places is greater.
