VisitReggioCalabria disembarks at “We Make Future” (WMF) the largest fair on the future, on innovation, on artificial intelligence and new technologies, held in Bologna from 13 to 15 June. Three intense days for Christian Zuinmanager of the “VisitReggioCalabria” project, three days of discussions, meetings to understand what is happening elsewhere but, with great pride and satisfaction, also given the opportunity to show the Italian and international operators present at the Fair what is being built Confcommercio with VisitReggioCalabria.

The words of Lorenzo Labate

“A project – says the president of Confcommercio Lorenzo Labate – inclusive and evolving which, on the one hand, aims to be a simple tool to help tourists orient themselves in our province, on the other, it aims to become a networking tool between businesses, between public bodies and Confcommercio, between communities to sell the Reggio area in its entirety, with the villages, experiences, products, traditions, natural, cultural, gastronomic beauties and with the aim of attract tourists and investors. Presenting VisitReggioCalabria at We Make Future, an international event in the sector – continues Labate – is an important step for us because our first duty, as a trade association, is to do well in the territory, to network, to build relationships between businesses but, at the same time, finding the time, energy and skills to “sell” the territory, together, outside of our province. To ensure that local networks, with the right steps and the right times, connect with national and international networks”.

The numbers

In Bologna 90 countries, 600 sponsors, 3,000 startups, 100 training events and over 1,000 speakers from all over the world to talk about artificial intelligence, digital marketing, e-commerce, augmented and virtual reality, cybersecurity offering a complete overview of the latest innovations technological. On this prestigious stage, together with many other professionals from Igers, ExploreGerace, Avvenire di Calabria who dedicate themselves to the growth of our land, a leading role also for Christian Zuin, responsible together with the director Confcommercio Fabio Giubilo of VisitReggioCalabria, who explained with competence and passion the technical-operational characteristics of the project and, above all, the networking work behind it: the companies, the communities, the experiences that will increasingly be the richness of Visit.

Christian Zuin’s satisfaction

“In Confcommercio – says Zuin – we are building a territorial marketing tool for the benefit of businesses and the entire community which has immediate usefulness and we hope it can be a stimulus to understand the importance of networking and approaching the “sale of the tourist product” with preparation and strategy. Here you are – concludes Zuin – more than a portal, a project, a digital infopoint, VisitReggioCalabria aims to be a communication and marketing strategy for the benefit of the area, which we are sure many companies and entrepreneurs from Reggio will tune in to and, certainly, all those thinking about the tourism potential of Reggio Calabria they don’t want to limit themselves to talking about it but they really want to do something to exploit it”.
