The American screenwriter Scott Snyder will be a guest at the 2024 edition of Lucca Comics & Games, which will take place from 30 October to 3 November, in collaboration with the publishing houses caldaPress and Star Comics.
Precisely at Lucca Comics 2024, Star Comics will present the first comics from Scott Snyder’s Best Jackett Press line, which in the original were first distributed digitally by Amazon on the Comixology platform and subsequently printed and published by Dark Horse Comics, including Barnstormers. A Ballad of Love and Murderdesigned by Tula Lotay (also a guest of the event).
Born in 1986, Scott Snyder began writing comics at the beginning of the new millennium, arriving in Marvel Comics in 2009 (with titles such as Iron Man: Noir) and later in DC Comics, where he soon became one of the leading authors, writing series such as American Vampire, Detective Comics, Batman And Swamp Thing, Justice League and the 2017 event Dark Nights: Metal.
Among the other series written by Scott Snyder there are also We Have Demons, Clear, Night of the Ghouls, Nightlife, Wytches And Undiscovered Country (together with Charles Soule, for the drawings of Giuseppe Camuncoli). The author is also among the founders of the DSTLRY publishing house.
