The second edition of Dancing Peripheries returns to the Casa del Quartiere Donatello in Cuneo. The festival, extended throughout the summer, will include 10 events dedicated to the joy of dancing and being together, confirming itself as an event of aggregation and fun not to be missed.
From 22 June to 24 August, Dancing Peripheries 2024 will offer an even richer and more varied program than the previous year, with evenings dedicated to bal folk, ballroom dancing, swing and lindy hop. Each event will be an opportunity to discover and experience the magic of dance, in a welcoming and inclusive environment for a truly participatory festival, built from the bottom up by volunteers united by a passion for dance. The festival will not be limited to dancing evenings and live music: there will also be dance workshops for those who want to learn popular dances or take their first steps to the wild rhythm of swing. These ateliers, led by expert artists and instructors, are designed to involve participants of all levels, from beginners to enthusiasts.
The Dancing Peripheries evenings will be open to all and with free entry, offering the Cuneo community a unique opportunity to come together and share their passion for dance. As the ateliers have a limited number of places, reservations are required to ensure an optimal experience for all participants. The Seniors Group of the Casa del Quartiere Donatello organizes 5 ballroom events with the music of orchestras that will bring grace and joy. For the occasion, a covered structure was used to guarantee the event even in case of bad weather. The Donatello Neighborhood House is in Cuneo in via Augusto Rostagni 23L. The event is possible thanks to the support and commitment of the Donatello Neighborhood Committee, Cooperativa Momo, 1000Miglia, Mente in Pace, ACLI and CuneoFotografia.
