Three women, all local, have been investigated in Matera for home burglary, receiving stolen goods, and possession of clandestine weapons and ammunition. According to what has been reconstructed, one of the three women, 26 years old, took possession of a series of silver and gold jewelery (chains, bracelets, earrings, medals, necklaces) stolen on several occasions from the apartment where she worked as a babysitter. sitter. The young woman was hired in February last year and she had the keys to the house and all the spaces in the house. Her landlady discovered it.
Another woman cohabiting with the first and the young woman’s mother were also involved, accused of receiving stolen goods as they allegedly resold the jewels in some gold buys in the city, receiving over €1,500 in exchange.
Furthermore, the two young women, who live together, are also under investigation for another episode of receiving stolen goods, as they allegedly received the goods from another theft, committed in Matera, by still unknown subjects. But that’s not all, because the two were also investigated for possession of clandestine weapons and illegal possession of ammunition: in their home they had 6 cal. cartridges. 12 shotgun, 2 metal artifacts, which could be assembled and which together made up a handcrafted device, equivalent to a clandestine firearm and ammunition.
