Fiumicino, 10 June 2024 – Justice has finally been done for a little girl who was less than ten years old at the time. The accused, a man from Fiumicino, was accused of abuse aggravated by the circumstance that the “deplorable and slimy conduct was carried out on a minor”, was sentenced by the Collegiate Court of Civitavecchia to 8 years and 6 months in prison for “serious acts of sexual violence”.
The criminal proceedings were conducted by the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Civitavecchia, under the direction of Public Prosecutor Dr. Katia Marino. The case saw the collaboration of numerous witnesses and consultants, whose testimony contributed to reconstructing the chilling circumstances of the crimes committed.
Sexual violence, the facts
The charge concerned very serious crimes provided for by articles 609-bis and 609-ter of the Penal Code. The investigations, which began after the complaint by the girl’s mother, revealed a disturbing picture of sexual abuse committed against the young victim.
Let’s not go into specifics of sexual abuse so as not to feed the detail of events to the turbidity of the human being; we can only say that it is not actual rape but other various reprehensible behaviors practiced on a little girl who is psychologically “forced” not to react.
The solidity of the accusation was based not only on theevidentiary incident conducted on July 25, 2018 with the help of the psychologist Dr. Elisa Muscillodi, but also on the confirmations emerging from the testimonies of various subjects: the dance teacher, the social worker, some friends of the then little girl and, obviously, the mother, the driving force behind the whole judicial matter.
Following the indictment of the prosecutor Dr. Katia Marino and a meticulous and meticulous speech by thelawyer Gianfranco Carluccio which highlighted the deplorability and brutality of the most horrible of crimes – conduct committed against a girl of not even 10 years old – the collegiate court of Civitavecchia, in the person of the president dr. Giuseppe Farinellaat the final hearing, after a deliberation lasting about 50 minutes, he ruled: sentence to 8 years and 6 months of imprisonment, 50,000 euros in compensation, perpetual ban from public offices and from any public office that could lead to contact with underage girls.
For the record, it should be specified that we are only at the first stage of a 3-level judicial process (First Instance, Appeal, Cassation) that the law provides.
