The Carabinieri of the operational unit of the Palermo Piazza Verdi company arrested two young Palermo men who were dealing drugs in the University area. The first arrest was made against a 28-year-old from Palermo accused of possession and dealing of narcotic substances. The pusher on board a bicycle would have hidden some doses of marijuana and hashish in via Alessi in uncultivated land.
In the second case, a 22-year-old from Palermo ended up in handcuffs and was also accused of dealing drugs. This too, stuck in the University area, thanks also to the dog’s nose, Ron was found by the military to be in possession of almost 800 grams of marijuana and over 700 grams of hashish. Precision scales and various packaging materials and several handwritten notes attributable to the drug dealing activity were found in the suspect’s house, hidden in a wardrobe in the bedroom.
Again thanks to the drug-sniffing dog, it was possible to find another kilo and a half of marijuana, 5 precision scales and another 20 grams of marijuana hidden in the compartment under the seat of a scooter parked on the street; the recovered narcotic was seized. The arrests were validated by the Palermo investigating judge.
