Outside Brodetto, new dates: from 18 to 24 June special evenings in the restaurants of Fano

FANO – Six special evenings await us for Fuori Brodetto in the restaurants of Fano. The initiative, promoted by Confesercenti, the Federation of Restaurateurs, the Chamber of Commerce, the Municipality of Fano and the Marche Region, allows you to taste the typical fish soup in participating establishments, until 30 June, at a 20% discounted price.

Tuesday June 18th we stop at Villamarina (Via degli Schiavoni, 22 – T. 0721 808782) for a full immersion in the genuine cuisine of chef Simone Lodovichetti. It is the triumph of the Fano tradition contemplated by all the classic species of fish (for example weever, mallet, red mullet) and by some special ingredients, chosen at the fish market, such as prawn and mantis shrimp to bring quality and goodness with the scent of sea.

Wednesday June 19th to Lighthouse village, owner Alessandro Vitali, a restaurant with innovative cuisine but anchored to tradition, specializes in fish dishes. For the special evening, a broth that releases aromas of the sea, with a tasty flavour, ingredients and procedure are based on the local recipe, revisited on the species of catch of the day, strictly without bones.

Thursday June 20th And The Garden of Flavors, (Viale Adriatico, 134, Fano – Tel.: 0721.800015) a stone’s throw from the historic centre, to host the special evening. Enrico and Filippo Gambelli, father and son respectively, also follow tradition for the brodetto and offer it with local wines. A dish increasingly requested by tourists who can enjoy the freshest ingredients enhanced with traditional recipes.

Always the same evening, Thursday 20 June, special evening at Darderi Bistro (Piazza Andrea Costa, 18 – Tel.: 0721-1704178) welcomed by the owner of the venue Davide Sabbatini. In the kitchen Silvia, eight generations of Fano fishermen, prepares the broth as the families of the port did it, as well as with the same procedure as in the past when her great-great-grandfathers went out to sea on sailing boats. Among the ingredients only fresh fish based on what is found on the fish counter and fishmonger. The evening’s menu is enriched by meatballs, fried and marinated anchovies and Fanese-style calamari.

The June 23 special evening at Osteria Le Cesarine (Via G. Garibaldi, 108 – Tel.: 3485141634), a name that comes from the fusion of the names of the grandmothers of the two chef Federico Canestrari And Andrea Urbinati. The mission of the restaurant is to offer a tasty proposal respecting tradition and the simple and genuine flavors of our territory, in a modern key. All this will be found in the special evening of Fuori brodetto.

We continue on June 24th with the special evening scheduled at Osteria da Ugo (Via Giovanni da Serravalle, 18/20 – cell.335. 7602846) typical trattoria in the city centre, owner and chef Eleonora Amoruso who prepares his broth following the family recipe, but also adapting to specific requests, for example using fish without bones, to enjoy it easily.

Following the special evenings, to close the entire event, a technical jury of gastronomes, experts and enthusiasts, led by chef Lucio Pompili, will test all the participating restaurants and select the winner.
