In Northern Italy there were around forty serial attacks in a longer period of time, in Lucca for the moment there are two consecutive ones (those reported) in two days, but with an increasing trend. We are talking about the theft with dexterity classified by the police as that of coins. Others have probably been perpetrated as well.
This time it happened in the outdoor car park of the Lidl supermarket in Lucca. A system that takes advantage of fake kindness to deceive people, mostly elderly, in a moment of weakness. Same technique, photocopy style. With only one variant.
This time the bag was placed on the car and not on the trolley. A lady with weekend shopping, therefore loaded with goods, was also targeted by a girl who calls the victims warning them that a coin has dropped.
At this point the old woman bends down to check and the accomplice enters the scene and grabs the bag in a second. Subsequently the escape, facilitated on weekends by the presence of many people. The robbed woman, also in this case, screamed and tried to chase the two Bonnie and Clyde but, obviously, to no avail.
The woman reported the incident to the police. The military are trying to verify whether the external video surveillance systems can offer useful information to obtain elements necessary to identify the two who also acted in the space reserved for parking in the alleys of the Coop shopping center in S.Anna.
These are almost certainly the same authors. Investigations underway. Other shots and attempts in via Proivinciale Mammianese in Marginone, in the Altopascio area. A phenomenon to which we should pay ever greater attention, given that it could increase in the coming weeks.
