It certainly wasn’t the rain that stopped the evening’s celebration Girinvalle: Saturday 15 June in Olona Valley in fact, the exodus of those who have begun from the inhabited centers they reach the valley floor every year to enjoy everything that the volunteers have organized for the communities.

As always on the third weekend of June, for almost twenty years, like many colored ants the Pro loco organize refreshment points, entertainment and entertainmentto give moments to remember to those who choose to support them and appreciate their commitment.
The party is double: a Olgiate Olona, Fagnano Olona, Solbiate Olona, Gorla Minore and Marnate we left on Saturday eveningand the next day Gorla Maggiore joins the neighboring municipalities to make Sunday in Girinvalle unique.
On June 16th, therefore, there will be the opportunity to experience the beauty of our territory in its entirety, enjoying all the initiatives proposed.
Saturday evening, however, despite the downpour that inevitably arrived, was characterized by the first toasts, the first salami sandwiches, the smiles from the volunteers who always appear, despite the effort and perhaps hours of grilling or frying. Inevitably the rain soon interrupted the fun, despite the pleas of the tireless volunteers, who would have preferred to continue working for their fellow villagers.
What makes this evening special is the concomitance with the national football match: the Pro loco, very attentive, have prepared the giant screens in every refreshment point, to encourage fans to come down to the Valley and cheer together.

Once the Azzurri match has been archived, on Sunday 16 June the volunteers await everyone in the Valley again, offering special moments in each refreshment point.
We remember – just to give a few examples – the duck race along the river, the road train, information on the Via Francisca del Lucomagno, the Sincrovalle walk who at 9.30 am will propose to cover all or some of the stages of the Girinvalle starting from each Pro loco, music, entertainment for children and much more.

Furthermore, like every year, the Anpi sections of the Olona Valley will allow visits to the World War II bunkerlocated in Marnate.
