Volo – Youth – Auxilium Saluzzo and La Perosina qualify for the Under 18 final four
Two Piedmontese on the podium of the Under 18 Team Championship.
We will find out what metal the medals will be made of with the awarding of the Tricolor Shield July 27th and 28th next in Pont-Saint-Martin during the national final phase which will see two teams from the West sector and two from the East as protagonists.
The West interregional phase played in Castelnuovo Don Bosco guests of the Crivellese club rewarded two Piedmontese associations, Auxilium Bertolotto Porte and La Perosina Boulencielwhich they respectively eliminated Chiavarese and Lower Valley who (the latter) ironically will not be able to participate in the final four on their home courts.
The indiscriminate draw that took place before the start of the two double matches therefore divided Saluzzo and Perosa Argentina and qualification was achieved for both Piedmont teams.
Auxilium defeated Chiavarese first 10 to 4 then 8 to 4 (overall result 18 to 8); Perosina defeated Bassa Valle 9 to 5, then losing 8 to 6 but qualified by virtue of 15 to 13 overall.
7 tests per match were played (1 combined, 2 precision throws, 1 progressive, 1 individual, 1 pair, 1 relay); in the Under 18 teams both boys and girls can play together.
In the Auxilium Saluzzo Alessio Cagliero, Francesco Costa, Matteo Torta, Matteo Macario took the field (All. Paolo Costa); Perosina fielded Marco Galliano, Santo Bevilacqua, Diego Verganti, Arianna Falletti, Valentina Oleastro (All.Valter Oleastro).
For the Lower Valley Nicolò Torello, David Deglaudi, Stefan Bosonin, Didier Brunod, Greta Gamba (All. Amilcare Giopp) played while the Chiavarese fielded Erick Manià, Alessandro Ansaldi, Jury Manfredi, Edoardo Bacigalupo (All. Arianna Carbonara).
