VILLAMARZANA (Rovigo) – Saturday 15 June, a Villamarzanatook place first graduates’ party. An initiative strongly supported by the Mayor Daniel Menon and carried out by the municipal administration with the coordination of the councillor Vanessa Malaman.

“As a first edition – comments the deputy mayor Mattia Paulon – we have decided to reward all resident children who have obtained a degree starting from 2020, the year of the pandemic”.

Each Doctor was given an engraved plaque and a gadget to commemorate this day, the awards were presented by Mayor Menon and Deputy Paulon.

The event was greatly appreciated by the children and their families, for some of them it was a special moment as during the Covid emergency it was not possible to celebrate the milestone achieved.

“This, like other initiatives that we are carrying out as municipal administration, makes us particularly proud because we are going to highlight the young people of our country who are the future and those who can bring new ideas and energies fundamental for the growth of a territory with the ‘objective of creating a greater bond and sense of community,’ underlines Mayor Menon.

During the evening, another important event held in Villamarzana this year was also remembered, the first edition of the Popular University, with recognition also for its promoter Fiammetta Pavan which is already working to organize the courses for the 2024-2025 academic year.

The Administration’s intention is to repeat this event in the coming years, extending it not only to graduates, but to all people from Marzano who have distinguished themselves in various fields.
