Vice presidency in pink with Emanuela Franzetti (“Sunrise Holidays” – Sondrio) and Andreina Barri (“Viaggi da Matty” – Morbegno), confirmation for the councilors Laura Efisia Bernardini (“Viaggi UI UA IU” – Bormio), Claudia Giacomelli (“ Terralta Viaggi” – Bormio), Claudio Lisignoli (“Splugatour” – Chiavenna), Dario Medde (“Adrastea Viaggi” – Tirano), Andrea Perego (“Automobilistica Perego” and “BusPeregoExpress” – Tirano), Cristiano Quattrini (“Sinferie” – Sondrio) and Elisa Rainoldi (“Malgina Travel” – Teglio).

“We have been talking about sustainability for several years – remember Enrico Balestrieri – tema that will characterize the 2024 Olympics and the 2026 Winter Games. The travel agencies associated with the Union are very sensitive and attentive to this topic: we are ready with our incoming and outgoing packages to spread good practices and propose forms of tourism that respect environment, local communities and oriented towards energy saving”.

Travel agencies also want to be ambassadors of the area, through packages that offer and enhance the beauty and typical features of which the province of Sondrio is rich. “The Elective Assembly – states President Balestrieri – has established the desire to move in this direction to increase incoming. We are ready to collaborate with other categories active within the Union, especially with those that are part of the tourism supply chain.” The Assembly was the first without Lina Franzetti, who passed away on April 12th: her commitment to giving life to the Travel Agencies Group was remembered. A project that continues and grows, also taking into account her ideas.
