William Viali says goodbye to Cosenza. This year too, for the second in a row, the coach entered the race, brought the Calabrian team to safety and then broke off the relationship. Now, with a letter, he greets all the rossoblu people. As well as Gemmieven in this case the farewell message leaves a veil of bitterness. “I made a mistake once and I took all my responsibilities and, perhaps, those of others too. I returned, taking risks, to a difficult situation in order to regain everyone’s trust. We managed, thanks to a special alchemy, to recreate that great enthusiasm that brought us one step away from the playoffs”it is read.
“In my head, that alchemy made up of people who exalt each other had to be the basis for planning a great season. Unfortunately in the last 20 days, even though we were preparing the pre-season retreat, including friendlies, convinced that we were continuing a technical project in which we believed a lot, it was decided to change it. So, to be precise, this time I didn’t choose, but I had to adapt to other people’s choices. I could explain many other steps that led me, despite myself, to this choice, but that is not the intent of this message. I just wanted to greet everyone with a little more clarity. Thank you Cosenza”.
In the Press conference of his presentation, DG Giuseppe Ursinus he said that the ownership did everything to renew the technician’s contract, but the latter decided to refuse, because “not motivated”, according to the rossoblu manager. Now Viali’s version.
