CHIETI. To the “no” of the select committee of mayors (Diego Ferrara, Giulio Borrelli, Francesco Menna And Massimo Tiberini) to the 2023 ASL budget and some actions planned by the company to cover the heavy debt of over 41 million euros, the decline in performance and the 35% increase in passive mobility respond Maurizio Bucci (League), Antonio Tavani (FdI), Daniele D’Amario (FI) ed Enrico Di Giuseppantonio (UDC), representing the centre-right mayors, who accuse the committee of bias, underline the industriousness of the ASL ready to recover 20 million by the end of the year and invite the committee to elect the fifth member who has been missing for months.
THE CENTER-RIGHT
«We know perfectly well what the critical health issues are that have existed for several years and it therefore seems strange that some local mayors are only now realizing it», begin Bucci, Tavani, D’Amario and Di Giuseppantonio, «but it should be remembered how things are working today to return adequate health services to citizens. From a financial point of view, the ASL maneuver launched for the recovery of the first 20 million of losses by the end of the year must be recognized. We ask the select committee of mayors, made up of centre-left mayors whose opinions have long been more political than objective, to deal with another priority: the election of the fifth member to replace the mayor of Ortona, who expired a few months ago. THE COMMITTEE OF MAYORS

Marsilio’s line to avoid being placed under commissionership is clear: cut medicines, aids and auxiliary staff as much as possible. As for Schael, in a meeting he had dramatic and authoritarian tones towards the healthcare staff who are finding themselves having to respond to the needs of citizens almost with their bare hands.”
