Viterbo – Provincial Council – President Romoli returned to the exploratory wells and reminded Astral about the inconveniences for the construction sites between Tuscania and Montalto
Viterbo – “Geothermal in Caprarola, legal action to stop the construction of the plant”. In the provincial council, president Romoli reiterated the body’s opposition, already expressed in the past.

“We are pursuing legal actions – reiterated Romoli during the communications at the beginning of the session – before the TAR. It is unfortunate that we have to resort to administrative justice and are unable to find other solutions first.
We risk the landscape being distorted in an area of high landscape value which cannot be compromised.”
On the other side of Tuscia, from the lake towards the sea, inconvenience due to works on the road that connects Tuscania to Montalto di Castro.
“In February – recalls Romoli – we wrote to Astral to point out the inconveniences caused by the construction sites and works between Tuscania and Montalto di Castro”. The interventions concern road appurtenances which Astral deals with, as it is a regional road.
We will submit everything again to the region, the invitation is to pay maximum attention in a stretch where in addition to the inconveniences there are high accident rates”.
Finally, school sizing. The regional norm with the new standards to be respected and no longer the criterion of schools per province. “This could damage the territory – Romoli points out – to the advantage of Rome which has a greater student population”.
