Three men aged 24, 25 and 34 ended up in handcuffs on charges of theft: they stole more than 70 bottles of Champagne throughout Lombardy
The Carabinieri of Sesto San Giovanni, today, arrested a 35-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man, both Romanian and censored, while a third 24-year-old is under the obligation to report to the judicial police. The accusation is that of theft of around 70 bottles of fine Champagne throughout Lombardy.
The investigations were started by the soldiers of the Vimodrone station after the complaint made by the manager of a well-known supermarket chain which, on several occasions, has noticed numerous thefts of food, especially in Lombardy. The investigative activities, therefore, made it possible to understand what it was especially bottles of Champagne and, subsequently, those responsible were also identified.

Here’s how they did it
According to the reconstruction carried out by the agents, the three entered the chosen supermarket from the main door and, again from this, they left after stealing several bottles of fine Champagne. The shots, all the same as each other, were achieved in the Milan area, in the Varese area and also in Brianza and, according to investigators, the three people are always behind these thefts.
Acquired camera images after the complaint from the store manager, the investigators were able to frame the faces of the three managers through the videos. By reconstructing the network of all the sales outlets that fell under the fire of the three thieves, however, they were able to understand that in total the three took away around 70 bottles, for a total value of approximately 4500 euros.
After identifying the three alleged perpetrators, the investigators set out on their trail: the two older ones ended up in prison, while the youngest must report to the judicial police. The stolen property, however, was not recovered, nor is it known what happened to it after the theft.
