The start of the event is approaching Ferrara Summer Festival. The fifth edition of the event is promoted by the Butterfly association.

For the first time this year, an extra date is planned, Monday 14 October, with Luciano Ligabue at the ‘Abbado’ Municipal Theater in Ferrara. Italian artists, emerging talents and foreign big names will perform in the summer festival, from 20 June to 13 July.
There will be two locations, both within the 9 kilometers of walls that surround the heart of the city: Piazza Trento Trieste and Piazza Ariostea. We start on Thursday 20 June with Benson Booneexpected on stage in Piazza Trento e Trieste with his ‘Beautiful Things’, climbing the world charts.
The following evening, Friday 21 June, the scenario changes with the format ‘Deejay Time’ in Piazza Trento and Trieste, with the first date of the summer tour. Hours of music are expected from Articoli 31 to Max Pezzali, from Alexia to the group The Kolors. On Saturday 22 June, in Piazza Trento e Trieste there will be space for ‘Summer Vibez, and electronic music with the French band Air, a musical duo composed of Nicolas Godin and Jean Benoît Dunckel, who will bring the album ‘Moon Safari’ live for the first time ‘.
On Sunday 23 June, there is a change of direction with a younger audience. On the stage in Piazza Trento and Trieste space for Tony Effe, Drillionaire and Anna. After a few days’ break, the event resumes on Wednesday 26 June with Annalisa in Piazza Trento e Trieste. On Thursday 27 June, in Piazza Trento Trieste, the scenario will change again with the format ‘I want to go back to the 90s’but the following evening in the same place the musical appointment is scheduled with the ‘trance’ music of Markus Schulz, Paul Van Dik, Ali & Fila.
On Sunday 30 June, in Piazza Trento e Trieste we move on to Tommaso Paradiso’s ‘Tommy Summer Tour’ which returns to the Ferrara Summer Festival for the second time. On Tuesday 2 July, in Piazza Trento Trieste, Coez and Fra Quintale are expected with the ‘Lovebars Summer Tour’ for a fun-filled pop rap evening. We arrive at Thursday 4 July and we also change location, moving to Piazza Ariostea, with the only Italian date of the Extreme rock band plus Heat and Eclipse. On Wednesday 5 July, with free entry in Piazza Ariostea, on the occasion of the Notte Rosa di Ferrara, the event will arrive for the first time and includes the musical formats ‘Lacrima Party’, ‘Mai dire Goku’, ‘La vita a 30 anni’, ‘We Love 2000’ and ‘Tachicardia Party’.
The event continues with Tedua in Piazza Ariostea on 6 July, while the following evening the scenery changes again. Calcutta is expected in Piazza Ariostea. On July 8th here is a leap into the past with classic Italian music in Piazza Ariostea and the historic Pooh group. On July 11th, in Piazza Ariostea, the evening is marked Cccp – Fedeli alla Linea, Graznevada and Vasco Brondi. Friday 12 July, Piazza Ariostea hosts ‘Fitness Day’, on the occasion of the Fluo Run, the fitness and wellness festival which takes place in the evening, in an energetic atmosphere aimed at athletes and families.
In addition to the appointment with music, they are expected 6 kilometers within the Estense walls and the suggestive historic center of Ferrara among a thousand lights. Last summer date with free entry, Saturday 13 July, is with radio 101 in Piazza Ariostea and a guest who will be announced soon. Tickets can be purchased either online, through authorized channels, or at the Info Point in the municipal square, at number 11.
