PISTOIA – On 21 June, on the occasion of the Music Festival, the second stage of the new project “The places that dance” will be held in Pistoia, organized by the Danzare Cecchetti Ancec Italia Association under the artistic direction of the President Tessa Adriani and with the collaboration of the Vice President Evelina Ricci, with the patronage of the Municipality of Pistoia.

With the direction of Maestro Arturo Cannistrà and the choreography of Carlotta Repetto and Ivan Cignetti, the twenty dancers from all over Italy will give life to a traveling show that will actively involve the public, who will have to move to follow the artists in motion.

In fact, initially the choreographies will take place under the loggias of the Municipality in Piazza Duomo and will then move to the Sala Maggiore, through the path designed to enhance the pas de deux, the solos and the group pieces.

The show lasts thirty minutes and will be repeated three times: at 6:00 pm, 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm.

The “Places that dance” project has the particularity of making the dancers dance not on a stage, but in the most beautiful places in Tuscany: the National Premiere was held at the Teatro Verdi in Florence on 2 June, and will arrive in Pistoia on 21 June , on 12 July in Seravezza, on 15 September it will stop at the Albola Castle in Radda in Chianti, with other dates being defined.

The Danzare Cecchetti Ancec Italia Association, member of the world organization Cecchetti International, is inspired by the cultural and educational heritage left by Maestro Enrico Cecchetti in the field of teaching and promotes and preserves the culture of dance in Italy and around the world.
