We are looking for boys as protagonists

Casting has begun for the new Rai TV series directed by director Luca Miniero. Filming in Naples between September and December 2024.

The new Rai Uno TV series is being filmed in Naples “We in Healthcare”directed by the director Luca Miniero and produced by Mad Entertainment. Casting to select the protagonists has begun in recent days. We are looking for young Neapolitan actors, boys and girls aged between 16 and 22. Filming is scheduled in Naples in autumn, between September and December 2024. The Neapolitan capital, therefore, confirms itself as the capital of Italian cinema, hosting another major production.

When castings are held

The selections for the protagonists will be held on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 June 2024, from 10.00 to 18.00, at the church of the Immaculate and San Vincenzo in Piazza San Vincenzo 1. Minors, as stated in the announcement, will have to be accompanied by a parent or guardian and the latter must also present a photocopy of the identity document in addition to the completed and signed release.

Rione Sanità returns to the filming location

It is not the first time that the Rione Sanità has been filmed. Already in 2021 the popular neighborhood of the historic center of Naples was the set for another film, in this case it was about “Nostalgia”directed by Mario Martonestarring Pierfrancesco Favino. Film inspired by the writer’s latest novel of the same name Ermanno Rea. Even in that case the production was by Mad Entertainment spa. Among the locations, the Tondo of Capodimonte, via Fontanelle, vico Lammatari And via Sanità. Mario Martone took his cameras to one of the places where the history of the neighborhood and the entire city is best told: the Omega glove factory. It is here that he continues filming his new film, “Nostalgia”, starring Pierfrancesco Favino.
