Today and tomorrow (Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 June), a Moretta in the province of Cuneo, collectors are expected from all over Italy with over 250 examples of tractors and agricultural machinery from all eras: the steam engines of the late 19th century and the majestic post-war models, up to the widely used vehicles that contributed to agricultural development in the economic boom of the 1960s.

The Asi Tractor Show is part of the first edition of «Ancient tractors under Monviso», an event created by the Municipality of Moretta to celebrate the history and agricultural economy of the town. Over 250 examples will liven up the event organized by the Automotoclub Storico Italiano with the Trattori e Trattoristi association of Murello in the area of ​​the former railway station.

The Asi Tractor Show 2024 program includes the opening of the exhibition at 11am today (Saturday 15 June) with free entry for the public. At the same time, a conference will be held on the certification of agricultural machinery of historical and collectible interest with speeches by Alberto Scuro (president of Asi), Gianfranco Tardioli (president of the Asi Agricultural Machinery Commission) and Carlo Olivero (secretary of the Tractors and Tractor Drivers Association). On Sunday 16 June, in addition to the static exhibition, two dynamic moments are planned with the parade of the morning which will cross the center of Moretta and, in the afternoon, theswitching on tractors and steam locomotives with the re-enactment of ancient professions and the tractor drivers’ awards.
