24 hours after what the press defined as a “political-administrative earthquake in the Municipality”, I typed “Caserta” into Google and what appeared, as is also obvious, only news on this affair, accompanied also by those equally negative on one of the many industrial disputes on this earth.

Then I read the national and local paper newspapers, after visiting the web ones. There too, the same information framework.

This time accompanied by the comments that “we politicians” made on this story.

I use the quotation mark to express the distance, once again, from the life and daily problems of the Caserta people.

In the city, yesterday as today, daily degradation is continuous. And this time I don’t have to repeat my opinion on the Marino administration, because I had reiterated it a few hours before the “earthquake”, reminding everyone precisely of the intrinsic damage contained in that “electoral coalition” that generated this Administration.

It all started and has gotten worse since then. The discomfort of these hours, in seeing the name of our city alongside “votes bought for 50 euros” in the national press, cannot afflict me for much longer.

I want to continue to say, with great clarity, the things that don’t work here. And I return to do so by denouncing, this time, the danger that this affair will be “digested” in the worst possible way by the administration and its still unclear insiders in the City Council.

In fact, I read too many poorly concealed desires to give the executive structure a little vacuum cleaner without resolving, once and for all, the damage of a completely supine administrative management to the “desired individuals”.

A deliberately unorganized management, conditioned by the need for measures which – it was not necessary to wait for the “earthquake” to understand and know it – few of us vigorously denounced, receiving ridicule, incomplete answers and an overall representation of “omnipotence”, unshakable and unscathed by any censorship.

I want to continue to fight against this state of affairs. Caserta does not deserve to continue to be offended in this way.
