Weather temperatures – Intense heat arriving with peaks of 40/41°C, here’s how the whole week will go. Maps « 3B Weather

Confirmed on drastic change of scenery for next week due to the progressive comeback of a powerful player in the central Mediterranean anticyclonic promontory of African origin. Temperatures will rise from Monday but the peak will be reached between Wednesday and Friday when the threshold of 40°C may be exceeded in some regions. The heat should persist albeit with less intense tones at least until the weekend. So let’s see what awaits us:

TEMPERATURES MONDAY: few variations in the North and Center with a slight local increase, slight increase also in the South with peaks of 36/37°C in Sicily.

TEMPERATURES TUESDAY: general increase in temperature, all of Italy will be above average, up to 4/5°C more in the North and Centre, even over 5/8°C in the South and on the Islands. Peaks of 38°C in Sicily, Sardinia and Puglia.

WEDNESDAY TEMPERATURES: even warmer over Italy, particularly in the Centre-South. Peaks of 40/41°C can be reached in Sardinia, 39/40°C in Sicily and Puglia.

TEMPERATURES THURSDAY: very hot day throughout Italy. Torrid heat in the South with peaks above 40°C in Sardinia, Sicily, Puglia. 40°C also possible in the Center. Lower temperatures but very muggy heat in the North.

TEMPERATURES FRIDAY: another hot day in Italy. Intense heat from North to South with high sultriness in the Po Valley. Highs of 40°C spread across the central and southern regions. We will be 10 to 15°C above average for the third decade of June.

SATURDAY TEMPERATURES: limited decrease in the North although with maximums still slightly above average. The Center is also above average, although not by much. Intense heat remains in the South although with a slight decrease compared to Friday.

SUNDAY TEMPERATURES: few variations, heat still locally intense in the South even if the threshold of 40°C should no longer be reached. The Center is also above average and the North is slightly above average.
