“With almost 150 thousand spectators, over 6 thousand season tickets, a budget of over 10.6 million euros and 350 live shows scheduled for the new season, the Teatro Stabile del Veneto Foundation it confirms itself as a reality of excellence in the Veneto area as well as one of the best Italian theaters according to the Ministry of Culture.
Thanks to an entrepreneurial vision and great team work essential to create this important network between Teatro Goldoni in Venice, Teatro Verdi and Teatro Le Maddalene in Padua, Teatro Del Monaco in Treviso, as well as precious collaborations with Verona and Vicenza, we have succeeded to have a cultural and artistic offer capable of creating value for the territory. An investment that is not limited only to the production of shows but also and above all thinks of younger people with activities dedicated to them and discounted tickets, in the belief that if you are fed food with your identity from an early age, you will be nourished by it for your entire life that food.”
Teatro Stabile Veneto: the new season begins
The President of the Veneto Region said this on the occasion of the presentation of the 2024/2025 season of the Fondazione Teatro Stabile del Veneto – Teatro Nazionale, which was held this morning at Palazzo Balbi in Venice. Also present were the regional councilor for culture, the president of the Teatro Stabile del Veneto Foundation and the artistic director of the Teatro Stabile del Veneto Foundation.
“As the Veneto Region we have invested a lot in this beautiful, important and great institution which is the Teatro Stabile del Veneto – explained the Regional Councilor for Culture -. And we wanted to do it because it is the engine of cultural growth for the entire Veneto system, for the companies, for the artists, for all those who, with great professionalism, make the Veneto one of the most dynamic lands from a cultural point of view, with results of excellence at national and international level.
A reality supported by the Region which is in fact a creative cultural enterprise, which knows how to create and enhance relationships with cultural institutions, not only in the cities of Venice, Padua and Treviso, but with the entire regional territory. The Teatro Stabile del Veneto has coverage of its budget thanks to ticketing of more than 50% and in the planning part it has a 40% investment which also derives from private financing.
A “model” of creating culture of the Venetians for the Veneto, capable of putting a land with many different realities into a “system”. Our desire is for this reality to increasingly become an aggregator of culture not only in terms of offering live shows but also as a reference for the cultural productions of our Region, thus confirming the role of excellence that we have managed to obtain”.
