Some young people filmed themselves on the Bari seafront making a person with mental health problems fall into the sea and posted the video on social media. “A collective defeat, everyone must be reported,” comments Welfare councilor Bottalico. However, it is not clear when the episode dates back.
A video is making the rounds on social media, shot in Bariin which a little boy appears throw yourself violently on a person causing it to end up in the water.
In the video, released on Telegram from the ‘Baby gang and bullying emergency’ page, the victim is seen walking uncertainly near the seafront of the Apulian capital; suddenly another person, it seems to be a young man, probably a minor, he hits her with a kick pushing her into the sea.

I also saw that terrible video that was filmed in the last few hours. I felt profound indignation and great anger at what happened on the Bari seafront. What I saw – says Ansa – and what all those who saw the video could see is proof of a great collective defeat” .
“A little boy who throws something into the sea, without worrying about the consequences person in obvious difficulty – continues the councilor – probably with frailties, who walks with an uncertain step and is pushed with a kick, represents a general responsibility that has evidently been betrayed”.
For Bottalico it is “an episode to be reported without any appeal, and not only towards those who acted by giving that push, but also towards those who were present, took and distributed the images and did nothing to prevent this horrible gesture from happening” .
And he concludes with an invitation “to anyone who has news of what happened: report without fear this vile aggression. We as an institution will be there and as far as possible we will accompany and listen to this boy in the next few days. No one, here or elsewhere, should feel alone and defenseless.”
