The policemen of the Flying Squad have reported a foreigner, who is illegal in the area, in a state of freedom, who yesterday afternoon was responsible for an attack against some people outside a commercial business in Latina.
The officers intervened following a report from an employee of the business in question and found the alleged attacker on site, apparently calm.
The man, as told by the people present, first attacked a man for trivial reasons, hitting him with his fist and then threw himself against a woman present using a chair, fortunately not managing to cause him serious injuries.
The foreigner, with numerous police records for similar crimes, was taken to the Police Headquarters for identification procedures and was reported for the crime of battery.
The subsequent investigations highlighted the lack of legitimate qualifications for staying on the national territory and therefore the Immigration Office activated the procedures aimed at accompanying him to the detention center for repatriation in Bari, where yesterday evening he was was conducted by policemen from the Police Headquarters and where it will remain for subsequent administrative activities aimed at repatriation to the country of origin.
