Punto Europa Consortium, growing budget – Teramo

TERAMO. The 2023 budget of the Punto Europa Consortium was unanimously approved with a turnover of 615 thousand euros: the highest ever and more than double that of 2022. Added to this figure are the completion of the financial recovery, the reduction of interest with the banks and the exponential growth of public and private entities that choose Cope for European planning and technical assistance. The president of the Consortium, Filippo Lucci, commented on the results obtained, highlighting how Cope has managed to operate for the purposes of economic stability, repaying debt and banking exposure, stabilizing revenues also thanks to significant design development work in various areas, both national and Europeans, of collaborations and conventions. «This budget is an important indicator of the new course that Cope has undertaken», he said, «it is not just about data linked to the Pnrr, which we have been able to intercept and manage, but above all about the creation of a new organization which, in these years, has brought extremely significant results, increasing the reputation of a structure with great potential which was on the verge of closure and which we were able to relaunch thanks to internal professionalism and extraordinary work in relationships and the creation of new networks. This approach has allowed us to support bodies such as local health authorities, internal areas (34 municipalities), the Abruzzo banking foundations, Ance L’Aquila, regional civil protection, Tecnopolo and other important stakeholders, carrying out projects that have brought economies, development and innovation to the territory ». For the president, the current year is confirming the excellent performance of 2023 and suggests further improvements: «I like to mention two projects of enormous international importance: the Abruzzo art exhibition in Strasbourg, at the European Parliament, and the project “Fiaba” (Entrepreneurial Training for Burundian Food Self-sufficiency) candidate at the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the Abruzzo Region and Dapadu – Dalla Parte degli Ultimi. Finally, the first energy communities for municipalities and businesses are starting, with the planning support of Cope.”
