Trip to Italy in the year of roots tourism, Molise equips itself with a questionnaire that will be analyzed by Swg

The summer season is upon us, or rather for some it has already begun, and in the year of Roots tourism the questionnaire also arrives, presented by Confcommercio Molise yesterday 14 June.

An agile – we tested it – questionnaire to detect customer satisfaction (or degree of satisfaction) and the identity of clients of Roots Tourism in the 2024 summer season: this is the initiative that Confcommercio presented yesterday morning at the regional headquarters of Campobasso, in the presence of the regional director Irene Tartaglia and the Fipe Molise secretary Carlo Durante.

After having illustrated the results of the national analysis by Confcommercio on Radici Tourism in front of a large audience of entrepreneurs and operators in the sector, Confcommercio Molise explained that in the summer season it will offer tourists the questionnaire can be activated via QR Codeeasily accessible via smartphone, “to measure the sentiment of those who choose our region among their destinations”.

“How many days will you spend in Italy?”, “What would you most like to do during your stay in Italy”, “How important was the fact of having Italian origins in the choice to make this trip”, among the survey questions we tried to ask do by putting ourselves in the shoes of a potential tourist (with Molise origins) with roots.

The subsequent processing of the data collected will be carried out by SWG and their presentation will take place in an autumn meeting.

The national secretary of Confturismo Alberto Corti also participated in the meeting with the press via remote connection: “Molise moves on to the second step of the path that we inaugurated at the end of Februarythanks also to the positive discussion we had with the operators. Confcommercio Molise was the first organization to understand that it needed such a tool which, in just a few questions, will allow you to acquire important information on the cluster to which roots tourists belong, who are not all the same and have different interests. We hope to collect as much data as possible by September 30th which will then be analyzed by SWG and which will serve to give coherence to the proposals offered”.
