In Faenza, Sunday 16 June from 8am to 11.35amwill take place on XXXIV “Vallata del Senio” historic car rally, first “Luigi Rivola” memorial. In the setting of Piazza del Popolo, citizens of Faenza and enthusiasts of vintage cars and motorbikes will be able to see up close around a hundred historic cars, produced between 1920 and 1981, restored, preserved and travelling.
At 11.30 there will be a greeting from the Vice Mayor Andrea Fabbri, while a Lions banquet will be present from 8 in front of the Central Bar for the collection of glasses and prescription lenses and sunglasses new or used; this year there will also be a gazebo from the local section of the Italian Red Cross from 8.30 to 11.35 for the diabetes screening.
In fact, some of the most well-known Lions services concern the prevention of diabetes and the protection of sight (prevention of blindness, early diagnosis of childhood visual problems and help to disadvantaged populations thanks to the reuse of used glasses, collected and repaired by a special center assistance).
At 11.35 the caravan will leave for the Brisighella hills to end with a lunch at the ‘5 Cucchiai restaurant in Villa Abbondanzi in Faenza.
