Open since June 6th, the Agliana Padel Club was inaugurated on Thursday, the new structure born from the idea of Jacopo Capizzi and Emanuele Ciolini
Since last June 6th the new structure ofAgliana Padel Club officially opened its doors to all enthusiasts, who on Thursday afternoon also attended the inauguration in large numbers. Located in Via Giovannella in Agliana, a few steps from the “Bellucci” stadium, it is a structure, as mentioned, entirely new and born from an idea of the Florentine Jacopo Capizzi and his friend and partner Emanuele Ciolini. An ambitious project that came to light with a precise objective: to bring athletes and enthusiasts even closer to padel. The structure is composed with six padel courts made of Cor-Ten steel and surrounded by greenery, in full compliance with the principles of green and eco-sustainability, complete with a photovoltaic system and obviously changing rooms and reception, all created from scratch after years of intense work.
«The project is ambitious and undoubtedly let’s aim high – says Capizzi -. I have been in sport for many years, especially in football, and in recent years the expansion of padel has been disruptive and has led us to take this path. Already in the first week we had excellent feedback in terms of bookings and memberships and seeing all these people present for the inauguration fills me with pride. We have partnered with a Spanish padel academy Miguel Vita will train our teachers to ensure they can grow professionally. We hope to bring further “life” and soul to Agliana via Padel is a sport suitable for everyone, even for those who don’t want to undertake competitive activity.”

The first competitions are already scheduled for the month of June, above all the first edition of the Vannino Padel Cup, which takes up the common thread of the Vannino Cup, a football tournament organized in memory of the well-known Vannino who passed away in 2023. The tournament will start on June 24th to end on July 15th and will be divided into three categories: beginners, advanced and mixed yellow open.
