The Milan waited a little anxiously for midnight yesterday: the deadline for Serie A clubs to buy out players who arrived on loan with an option a year ago. For the Rossoneri the operations with this formula were different, but there were two of the most expensive ones, which ended with diametrically opposite results: De Ketelaere was redeemed byAtalantaWhile Saelemaekers he will return to Milan after the year to Bologna.

Milan: Saelemaekers returns, De Ketelaere remains in Bergamo

De Ketelaere to the Milan suffered pressure from the 35 million of the card, experiencing an essentially disastrous season with the Rossoneri. Its relaunch in Bergamo saved the investment made two years ago by Maldini and Massara: after having paid 3 million for the onerous loan last summer, owner Percassi will pay others 22 for the ransommore 2 bonusplus the 10% on future resale. 27 million total operation (to which to add the future percentage), with the Rossoneri club also being able to count on a positive effect of approximately 7.3 million euros in 2024/2025, relating to the depreciation fee which will no longer be among the costs in the budget.

Failure to redeem Alexis Saelemaekers by the Bologna temporarily caused an income of 12 million to “blew” from the Rossoneri’s coffers. However, during this transfer market session, the Milan is convinced that it can monetize its transfer. Saelemaekers had an excellent season with Bologna and concrete proposals are expected, also because with Christian Pulisic and Samuel Chukwueze, the spaces in his role are quite clogged. His future will therefore be far from Milanello, where they are awaiting offers from some club that could be interested in the Belgian after the positive year on loan at the Emilian club.
