L’University of Ferrara consolidates its prestigious position in the Italian academic panorama, obtaining notable results in Report of the AlmaLaurea Interuniversity Consortium 2024.

The data emerging from the annual survey offers a complete overview of the value of the University of Este, in terms of attractiveness, quality of training and success of the graduate community in the world of work.

The AlmaLaurea Report confirms the strong appeal of the University, capable of attracting students from every region of Italy: as many as 61.8% of Unife graduates in fact it comes from outside the Region, against a national average of 24.8% and a regional average of 46.9%.

The average age at graduation is 24.8 years (25.7 in Italy and 25.2 in the Region). The 73.1% of graduates finish current university compared to 61.5% nationally and 69.5% regionally. In particular, it is 74.4% among three-year courses (61.3% the national average and 70.5% the regional average) and 72.4% among two-year master’s courses (64.8% the national figure and 69.8% % the regional one)

Nine out of ten graduates declare themselves satisfied overall: 89.9% positively evaluate the relationship with the teaching staff and 88.1% consider the study load adequate for the duration of the course. Regarding the infrastructures made available by the University, 85.2% of the graduates who used them considered the classrooms adequate.

Data that underlines the University of Ferrara’s commitment to guaranteeing high-quality training, which prepares students to successfully enter the world of work. About that, 77.7% of Unife graduates completed an internship with recognized training creditsagainst a national average of 60.7% and a regional average of 68.3%.

Post-graduation employment rates are higher than the national average, with 77.1% for three-year graduates (national average 74.1%) and 81.4% for two-year master’s graduates one year after obtaining the qualification (national average 75.7%). In particular, five years after obtaining the qualification, 88.5% of second level graduates are employed (88.2% the national average).

The University of Ferrara stands out for the close connection between the training offered and the needs of the world of work. A bond that translates into concrete results for Unife graduates, as demonstrated by the data relating to the effectiveness of studies for work purposes, for which satisfaction is increasing over time. Among three-year graduates, 63.8% declare that they have found a job in which the studies carried out at Unife have proven to be very effective. This percentage rises to 76.9% among second level graduates one year after obtaining the qualification. Satisfaction continues to grow over time, again for second level graduates, reaching 78.8% 5 years after completing their studies.

The results achieved by Unife graduates, in particular with regards to satisfaction and job placement, they represent a tangible confirmation of the effectiveness of the strategies implemented by the University. 91% of our graduates express satisfaction with the course of study undertaken at Unife. This data motivates us to further invest in the quality of teaching and research both in terms of people and equipment, to offer our student community an increasingly complete training experience that responds to the needs of the job market. The survey also highlights solid job placement for Unife graduates, with an employment percentage that exceeds the national average. We pay great attention to orientation, both incoming and outgoing, to accompany our students in choosing their training path and entering the world of work. Our goal is to train active citizens and competent professionals, capable of giving a significant contribution to society and to successfully face the challenges of the contemporary world“.
