The Marco Fileni Foundationa non-profit organization created in 2016 on the initiative of the Fileni family in memory of their third son Marco, once again this year supports the most deserving students of Ancona and Macerata through theVIII edition of the project “We believe in young people”.
As every year, the initiative involves the awarding of 30 merit and income scholarships to 15 high school students and students And 15 university students – 10 of which are employees, spouses/partners/partners or children of employees or assistants of companies in the Fileni supply chain – to whom they were delivered checks respectively from 500 Euros And 2,500 euros, For a total amount of 45,000 euros.

Thanks to the hospitality of School Head Alfio Albani, the awards ceremony took place at the Stefano Filonzi gym of the “P. Cuppari – S. Salvati”.
Guest and moderator of the awards ceremony: Maurizio Socci, television journalist and radio speaker. The event saw the participation, among others, of the Mayor of the city of Jesi Lorenzo Fiordelmondo and the president of the Technical Scientific Committee of the Marco Fileni Foundation, the Magnificent Rector of the Polytechnic University of Marche Gian Luca Gregori.
For the 2023/24 edition, the Foundation received 814 applications (an increase of 4.5% compared to the 779 in 2022/23) and since 2016, the year of the first edition, it has invested in the initiative beyond 300 thousand euros in scholarships, awarded in total to almost 230 male and female students, many of which have been awarded in multiple editionsin support of merit and solidarity.
The ceremony was also an opportunity to present the new activities of the Foundationwhich wants to spread the positive energy of Marco Fileni, addressing young people to encourage the discovery of their uniqueness, promoting listening, orientation, training and offering spaces to socialize.
In detail, among the new activities presented:
- NEET Observatory (Not in Education, Employment or Training), the first publication by the Marco Fileni Foundation on young people in Central Italy, a social investigation that aims to shed light on the condition of girls and boys aged between 15 and 29 who are neither employed nor included in a education or training course.
- Success Stories: video interviews that tell the stories, thoughts and aspirations of boys and girls under 30 from the Marche region, who have decided to undertake a “different” career path, following their own inclinations. Among these: Giulio Gigli – tailor, Cecilia Quaranta – singer-songwriter, Ulises Vazquez – videobranding and communication, Marco Muzi and Damiano Ciarapica – content creator.
