The Marconi Institute of Dalmine (Bergamo), directed by Prof Maurizio Chiappa, was included in the 2024 list of the 10 best schools in the world (World’s Best School) for the “innovation” category, one of the five categories foreseen in the awarding of the flattering recognition.

The news, as reported by Bergamonews.it, was communicated directly to Principal Chiappa by Vikas Pota, founder and CEO of T4 Education, a digital platform he created and already created Global Teacher Prize and other philanthropic initiatives always in the educational field.

The institute was recognized for having combined technical skills with innovative learning methodologies, for addressing local economic needs and fostering a diversified and qualified workforce, for the results obtained, thanks also to its leadership and “for improving the education and student life”.

The top 3 finalists for each of the five World’s Best School awards will be announced in September 2024 and the winners in November.

A prize of $50,000 will be split equally among the winners of the five prizes, $10,000 each.

Founded in the mid-seventies, the school in Dalmine, in the province of Bergamo, has become a point of reference for students interested in electronics, electrical engineering and information technology, boasting a high post-diploma employability rate.

Located in a region with over 1,100 small businesses, ITI G. Last year he had already received the TES award “The Entrepreneurial School Award”, ranking among the best schools in Europe for having developed the principles of entrepreneurship among students.
