Return to the Arengario Monza Book Fest. Literary marathon under the arcades

The tenth edition of the Monza book Fest arrives. Tomorrow, starting from 3pm, the Arengario becomes an open-air bookshop: 22 writers present their works on stage.

Around, under the arcades, many stands of authors and publishing houses, charitable and cultural associations and, naturally, an avalanche of books. “It is an event open to the city, a festival for everyone – anticipates Dario Lessa, artistic director and president of the Hemingway & Co association – for one day the heart of Monza is transformed into the fair of literature and artistic and cultural contaminations with guests such as the lawyer Raffaele Della Valle, the former footballer Filippo Galli, Marco Franzoso who with Gino Cecchettin wrote “Dear Giulia”, a book dedicated to the current events of the Giulia Cecchettin case. And then Packi Valente, who talks about his ex-wife and late Anna Marchesini, and also Lapo De Carlo, Alice Basso, Crocifisso Dentello and many others. Spreading the pleasure of reading, the taste for words and every form of contamination between artistic genres is the goal we have set ourselves and which, as always, we will present in this new edition”.

We begin with Roberta Schira with “The flowers are always right” and Vittorio Vaccaro (“The kitchen is the theater of life“. Following, the time for the detective story: Valerio Varesi presents “The ice labyrinth”, Giovanni Cavallo “The detective story itriano“, Aldo Pagano “Vintage grass“ and Albina Perri “Imperfect crimes“.
