It’s official: the project for the construction of a new municipal nursery in the Trentacapilli district has obtained the requested funding. The communication, which came from the Ministry of Education and Merit, confirms the allocation of 2 million and 592 thousand euros from the resources of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) Mission 4 “Education and Research”.
This sum will allow the construction of a modern structure in via Alberobello, intended to accommodate 108 children. The new nursery will meet the needs of many families in the area, facilitating the reconciliation between work and family commitments.
The project, now fully funded, will soon enter the executive phase. This intervention represents a further step forward in the path of development and modernization of Altamura’s educational infrastructure, in line with the objectives of the PNRR.
The importance of the new nursery lies not only in its educational function, but also in its social role. A structure of this scale helps to create an environment conducive to the growth of children and offers concrete support to families, reducing inequalities and promoting social inclusion.
With the publication of the ranking of the New Nursery School Plan, Altamura is preparing to see a project materialize that responds to one of the community’s most felt needs, confirming the municipal administration’s commitment to improving the city’s services and infrastructure.
