Dozza’s ‘Walk under the stars’ proved to be a success. Yes, because a couple of evenings ago, 550 people, in defiance of the changing times of recent days, met in Piazza Zotti for the eighth edition of the charity summer walk organized by the women’s group ‘Rina and her friends’ . Thus, another 2,900 euros of free donations were collected, which were added to the 3,550 collected from the Stradozza donations last March and the 2,700 from the 2023 edition already delivered to the Imola Local Health Authority, to achieve the ambitious goal of the 140 thousand euros needed for the replacement of the mammograph dedicated to breast cancer screening at the Casa della Salute in Castel San Pietro and Dozza. A colorful snake of people, women and men with a good representation of very young and elderly people, which wound along the itinerary of via XX Settembre and then crossed via Circonvallazione, Felicione and Vigne Nuove. Light uphill section in the direction of Monte del Re to reach the fascinating Cavedagna degli Ulivi and close the circular route heading towards the Rocca. Final party in the square, in the shadow of the village town hall with its painted walls, complete with a snack of tart, donut, pizza and crescentine, good wine, music and a starry sky as a scenic backdrop to the usual masterpiece of generosity.
