Bradyseism, the Campania Region defines the contributions for the independent accommodation of displaced people

With a note from the Campania Region, less than a month after the 4.4 magnitude earthquake in the Campi Flegrei, the expenses eligible for contribution for assistance to the population were defined which, following the earthquake of May 20th, was evicted from damaged buildings.

On the basis of what has happened in emergency contexts and the measures taken, in agreement with the Department of Civil Protection, the Prefecture of Naples and the Municipalities involved, support has been authorized for families whose main, habitual and continuous home has been destroyed in whole or in part, or has been evicted in compliance with provisions of the competent authorities. The contribution for independent accommodation is established as: 400 euros for single-family units, 500 euros for families composed of two units, 700 euros for those composed of three units, 800 euros for those composed of four units, up to one maximum of 900 euros per month for families made up of five or more units. If in the family unit there are people over the age of 65, disabled or disabled with a disability percentage of no less than 67%, an additional contribution of €200.00 per month can be granted for each of the subjects indicated above, even beyond the maximum limit of €900.00 per month for the family unit. The economic benefits can be granted starting from the date indicated in the provision for vacating the property or evacuating it, and until the conditions for returning to the home have been met, or other stable accommodation has been provided, and in any case no later than six months. The contribution cannot be recognized in the event that the municipal administration ensures the provision, free of charge, of accommodation. It should also be noted that the contribution may also be recognized to those who have used hotel accommodation: in this case, with effect from the date of leaving the relevant facilities. Finally, we would like to remind you that it is the responsibility of the Municipalities to carry out all preparatory preliminary investigation activities for the identification of the beneficiaries, for monitoring the continuation of the necessary requirements and for the disbursement of contributions to the aforementioned families, after completing the necessary preliminary checks.
