There are just over a dozen sections where the most recurrent error appears to have occurred, namely the incorrect application of the split vote. In essence, unlike all the other sections, where 5, 10, 15 separate votes were counted in each, not a single one would appear in those indicated in the supplementary memorandum. But, on the contrary, almost all the votes for the centre-right candidate Carlo Masci (588 votes which allowed him to win in the first round and avoid a run-off) would seem to derive from the lists of his coalition.
And again, sections are highlighted where the votes are assigned exclusively to Masci, without connections with the other lists.
But the request for a recount of the votes assigned to Masci is also motivated by another issue, namely that in some sections the number of valid votes of the candidates for mayor is not reported, also in this case preventing the counting of separate votes, without count the section where the president abandoned the seat for personal reasons and the summary would not add up between blank and null ballots.
