VITERBO – Lots of enthusiasm at the Terme dei Papi for the election of Antonella Sberna to the European Parliament.
A packed room at the Terme dei Papi welcomed the celebration for the election of Antonella Sberna to the European Parliament last night. The event saw the enthusiastic participation of supporters and party members, underlining the historic result obtained in the province of Viterbo.
The event was introduced by the FDI coordinator, Luigi Buzzi who expressed his satisfaction: ‘49,000 people crossed out the symbol and wrote Sberna.
This has given the province of Viterbo the possibility of being represented in Europe, creating a red thread that connects the European Parliament to the smaller municipalities of our province, passing through the national Parliament and the Region.’ Massimo Giampieri, Provincial Coordinator added that this result is the result of great work in the area carried out by everyone. It’s a clear sign that constant work pays off. It will be Antonella’s job to bring Europe to Tuscia. Giulio Zelli, president of the Agriculture and Environment commission, commented that this is an exceptional electoral result, achieved also thanks to the work carried out by the centre-right in the Region, which led voters to once again reward the Brothers of Italy.
Finally, deputy Mauro Rotelli, president of the Chamber’s environment commission, underlined his pride in the goal achieved: ‘There is great joy because our province deserves this objective.
We have finally closed an administrative chain, achieving this objective with just four weeks of electoral campaigning. It all started from the event organized by Nicola Procaccini in Viterbo with a full San Leonardo theater, and with Arianna Meloni at the Terme dei Papi we created a national case.
Constant work has led to reaching 42.5% in the province of Viterbo and 44.4% in the capital. In recent weeks, the President of the Region Francesco Rocca, the regional coordinator Paolo Tancassini, the national manager of the organization Giovanni Donzelli and four ministers, such as Urso, Abodi, Lollobrigida and Musumeci, as well as the undersecretary Barbaro and the deputy minister Leo, have spoken in Viterbo. ‘
A visibly emotional Antonella Sberna then concluded: ‘If we want to continue the great work we are already doing, we had to complete the supply chain. We have the ability to count where decisions are made. Now we also have the strength to be able to make the best decisions that will impact the lives of all of us.’
