“The thin line of Umbria”

Spoleto, 15 June 2024. “The thin line of Umbria – Mario Merz. If the form disappears, its root remains”

Saturday 15 June 2024 at 11.00 am at Rocca Albornoz of Spoletothe presentation of the exhibition will take place “The thin line of Umbria” which until 6 October 2024 will see, thanks to exceptional system work, the state sites and 10 civic museums participating in the regional project MuseumsONanimated by contemporary art interventions, including major exhibitions, performances and new installations.

The first major exhibition of “La Sottile Linea d’Umbria” is the one dedicated to Mario Merz (1925-2003)created in collaboration with the Merz Foundation of Turin, open to visitors until 6 October 2024.
In conjunction with the project, from 15 June to 6 October, for the first time, with a single ticket costing 15 euros it will be possible to visit the fourteen national museums of Umbria.

The Thin Line of Umbria is a project of the General Directorate of Museums of the MIC, National Museums of Perugia – Regional Directorate of National Museums of Umbria and of the Umbria Region, with the contribution of the Council of the Casse di Risparmio Umbrian Foundations and the collaboration of Radio Subasio.
