«As far as Monza is concerned – Mayor Paolo Pilotto declared to the Gazzettino Metropolitano -, two practically equivalent coalitions emerge. 13,547 votes for the Brothers of Italy (26.98%) and 13,239 votes for the Democratic Party (27.37%). On the one hand, a coalition, FdI, which follows the trend of the national consensus, the other, the Democratic Party, is a stable group that has established itself in the citizen consensus. The Alleanza Verdi e Sinistra group gave strong confirmations in Monza, over 8%.”

In fact, the Greens and Left Alliance received 8.6%, Forza Italia 10.44%, the League 6.97%, the 5 Star Movement 5.41% and the United States of Europe 5.56%. «The Democratic Party made an excellent choice regarding the candidates – continues Pilotto, elected in 2022 and supported by the Democratic Party -. I agree with Prodi regarding Elly Shlein’s candidacy. There were strong names like Giorgio Gori and Cecilia Strada but also many others: Pierfrancesco Maran, Bruno Pizzul, Stefano Bonaccini, Patrizia Toia, Irene Tinagli to name a few. The Democratic Party has received recognition at the level of municipal administrations.”

Regarding the evaluation on bipolar disorder Pilotto declares: «I don’t know if bipolarism has strengthened but I believe that two political forces have consolidated».
