Crotone spoke again on the morning of Friday 14 June at the Ezio Scida on the occasion of the press conference to present Antonio Amodio, the new sporting director of the Calabrians.
In fact, it was the General Director of the club who spoke, Raffaele Vrennawhich made the name of the new coach official: it will be Emilio Longo.

“We want to bring back the enthusiasm, I have lived the last two years as an opponent and I realized that this has been missing. Anyone who loves Crotone must understand that things are not achieved by force, enthusiasm is fundamental” were Amodio’s first declarations.
“I am very happy to be here in Crotone and very proud that Crotone has chosen me. – continued the new sporting director of the rossoblu – Raffaele and I have known each other for some time and the relationship that was created with him convinced me to come here. I have had other requests, but when choosing I evaluate the men not the coat of arms of the club, even if in Crotone I found both.”

Among those who are leaving and those who will still remain in Calabria there will be a group that will undergo medical examinations and a meeting in the city next July before moving to the location of the summer retreat.
This year too, Crotone will prepare the season in the fresh air of the Crotone Sila. A choice in line with the past aimed at keeping the team close to the territory and avoiding long and expensive journeys.
The rossoblù will then face their first summer friendlies but we will still have to wait to find out their opponents. The seasonal debut could take place in August, presumably in the second half, with the Italian Cup matches being played Serie C and the subsequent start of the championship.
