Frost damage, call for investments in damage prevention

New contributions are arriving for agricultural companies in Emilia Romagna that intend to invest in the prevention of damage from frost and natural disasters, in particular those in spring mainly linked to fruit production potential. The announcement, for a total of 6 million euros in financingaims to cover up to 70% of the eligible cost of the investment and will support agricultural businesses in the purchase and installation of fans and burners with anti-frost function and the coverage – equal to 3% of the eligible amount – of the general technical costs incurred by farmers. Interventions may also consist ofimplementation of existing irrigation systems with the addition of a supply line. The deadline for submitting applications is set for 1pm on 6 September 2024.

Wine, calls for the promotion of designation of origin labels

Almost 29 million euros for the promotion of wines with designation of origin on non-EU markets. The two tenders amount to this much, the first regional one worth 7.2 million and the second of the Ministry from 21.7. The new calls that have just opened will be able to receive applications by 3 July 2024 for national projects and until 22 July for regional and multi-regional projects.
