The Italian artistic and cultural heritage. Stamp dedicated to the Tower of Pisa

The Ministry of Business and Made in Italy issues on 14 June 2024 an ordinary stamp belonging to the thematic series the Italian artistic and cultural heritagededicated to Tower of Pisa.

The cartoon depicts the Tower of Pisa, the bell tower of the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta which stands majestically in Piazza del Duomo, also known as Piazza dei Miracoli, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987, an iconic symbol of Pisa and Italy in the world . The stamp is completed by the legend “TORRE DI PISA”, the writing “ITALIA” and the tariff indication “B ZONA 1”

The stamp is printed by the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato SpA, in rotogravure; colours: four-colour process; paper: white, neutral coated, self-adhesive, non-fluorescent; weight: 90 g/m2; support: white paper, 80 g/m2 monosiliconed Kraft; adhesive: water-based acrylic type, distributed in quantities of 20 g/m2 (dry); paper size: 30 x 40 mm.; print format: 30 x 36 mm.; tracking format: 37 x 46 mm.; perforation: 11, made with die-cutting.
