Mayor Bruno celebrates the centenary of Vincenza Carnicella – Municipality of Andria

«High emotion for those who have given so much to the city, for work, for participation, for productivity. And centenarians represent an essential part of citizenship to which credit must be given. And I am also happy about this sharing with the Administration and with the mayor because it is not at all obvious that a citizen, or his family, asks for his presence at private and intimate events in their lives. Centenarians are an important part of the community and I am happy to celebrate with them. In a family, good and bad things are shared and therefore my intermediary is the whole city which sends its best wishes to these elderly people to pay homage to them, and more and more women are crossing this important milestone! So happy birthday Vincenza for your century of life!”.
Thus the mayor Giovanna Bruno celebrated Vincenza Carnicella, born on 14 June 1924, by giving her the City Parchment. She is the mother of 7 children, one of whom is deceased, very religious (she has two sisters who are nuns), a great worker, she dedicated all her time to work and family. She has always taken care of the house but she never left the hobby of embroidery and sewing, teaching it to the children who crowded her house, while the rest of her family dedicated themselves to activities in the countryside.
Best wishes to you and your family on this important anniversary!
