From tomorrow the calendar of liturgical initiatives in honor of the main patron of the city and the diocese
The calendar of liturgical initiatives promoted by the Cathedral of Ragusa has become increasingly consistent and articulated for some years now, also on the occasion of the solemnity of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist. The celebrations for the main patron of the city and the diocese of Ragusa will have their culmination on Monday 24 June. They start, however, starting tomorrow, June 15th. The prayer of the Holy Rosary is scheduled for 6.30 pm and the Eucharistic celebration will take place at 7 pm. On Sunday, masses are scheduled for 9am, 10.30am and 12pm. Another mass will be held in the afternoon at 7pm. During the celebration of the masses on Saturday and Sunday, the offerings of the faithful for the celebrations at the end of August in honor of Saint John the Baptist.
Furthermore, it is possible to light the torches in honor of the patron saint in the garden of Corso Vittorio Veneto. To do so, simply go to the sacristy. In the meantime, tickets are on sale for the draw, which will be drawn on 6 September. The prizes: first place Folletto Vorwerk Vk7s; on the second a wellness program for two people; the third will receive a 150 euro voucher for the purchase of fuel.
