Cota tenth in the district. Novara prefers Vannacci

Nothing to do for the Novara candidates in the European elections. From the now definitive results it is clear that none of the three aspirants to the Brussels parliament can have any hope. Starting with Roberto Cota, running for Forza Italia, who is positioned in tenth place in the north-western constituency with 3851 preferences and second – only to Tajani – in the Novara area with 1051 votes. It can now be predicted that Berlusconi’s party will probably have a couple of elected representatives in our constituency.

Also excluded from any match is Azione’s Arone candidate, Laura Marchini: eighteenth in the constituency with 543 votes and fifth in the Province of Novara with 88 preferences.

Nothing has happened also for Erika Nieddu, Popular Alternative, despite her excellent positioning within her party: first in Novara with 154 preferences and third in the constituency with 417.

As regards the most illustrious candidates, Novara also preferred Vannacci (Lega) who appears to be the most voted with 3876 votes after Giovanni Crosetto, nephew of the more well-known minister Guido, of Fdi who collected 4786 votes and will be the only one to represent Piedmont in Europe. Followed by Cecilia Strada (Pd) 3865 preferences and Ilaria Salis (Alleanza Verdi Sinistra) 1766.
